The conversation will also look at what lessons can be drawn from countries that prioritize civil defense and resilience, including Finland.
The event will feature CSIS experts: Dr. Seth Jones, CSIS senior vice president, Harold Brown Chair and ISP director; Dr. Daniel Byman, Warfare, Irregular Threats, and Terrorism Program senior fellow; and Dr. Bonny Lin, senior fellow for Asian Security and director of the China Power Project. Jude Blanchette, Freeman Chair in China Studies, will moderate the discussion.
